When is plannability more important than the fastest delivery?

Plannability is more important than maximum speed when project deadlines, consignee time windows, customs processes or production workflows must be reliably coordinated.

Plannability is more important than the fastest delivery when production processes, project deadlines, consignee time windows or customs processes must be reliably coordinated. A fast solution only makes sense when documents, route and consignee coordination are also stable.

In international transport, too much focus on speed can increase operational risks. Express or direct transport is of little use if unloading is not prepared, documents are missing or border processes are underestimated. Plannable transports often reduce queries, waiting times and internal uncertainty.

GLOBALSPED evaluates for every shipment whether speed or plannability provides the greater benefit for the destination region, goods and supply chain.
