What are additional customs documents?

Additional customs documents may be required depending on goods, destination country, customs procedure, origin, delivery term and route.

Additional customs documents are documents that may be required in addition to classic transport and goods documents. Which documents are needed depends on goods, destination country, customs procedure, goods value, origin, delivery term, consignee requirement and route.

Frequently relevant documents include commercial invoice, packing list, export accompanying document, CMR consignment note, loading list, transit documents, proofs of origin, preference documents, import documents, safety data sheets, permits or country-specific customs documents.

GLOBALSPED organizes international truck transports based on the goods and customs data provided. Goods documents such as commercial invoice, packing list and product-related documents must be provided by the sender, exporter or client. Upon request, GLOBALSPED can arrange the creation of certain transport-related customs documents if all necessary information is fully available.
