Who calculates the ADR points for the 1000-point rule?

The sender provides the basis for ADR points with UN number, ADR class, transport category, quantity and packaging type.

The basis for calculating ADR points must be provided by the sender. This includes UN number, ADR class, packing group, transport category, quantity, packaging type and other dangerous goods-relevant information.

The legally correct classification of the goods and the creation of goods and dangerous goods documents are the responsibility of the sender. A freight forwarder can use the information provided for transport organization, but does not replace the product-related classification.

GLOBALSPED uses the supplied information to coordinate transport solution, route and operational handling. Reliable planning is not possible if ADR data is incomplete.
