Transport

When is direct transport to Central Asia better than a hub solution?

Direct transport is useful for sensitive, high-value or time-critical goods; hub solutions can reduce costs for consolidated shipments.

Direct transport to Central Asia is better when low handling risk, clear transit time, sensitive goods or high control are important. A hub solution can make sense when several shipments are to be consolidated and cost optimization is more important than maximum directness.

Hub or consolidation solutions create additional interfaces. This can be economical, but it increases requirements for packaging, marking, documentation and time planning. For high-value machinery, spare parts or temperature-sensitive goods, direct transport can be the safer decision.

GLOBALSPED checks whether direct transport or a hub solution is better suited based on goods, deadline, costs, customs requirements and destination region.
