Temperature-controlled transport

What is the difference between GDP transport and temperature-controlled transport?

GDP transport includes more than temperature control and additionally covers quality processes, documentation and traceability.

Temperature-controlled transport initially only means that the goods are transported within a defined temperature range. GDP transport goes significantly further.

GDP also includes quality processes, documentation, risk management, traceability and defined procedures. Not every temperature-controlled transport automatically meets GDP requirements.

If pharmaceutical or medical products are to be transported in a GDP-compliant way, these requirements must be clearly specified already at the request stage. GLOBALSPED organizes GDP-compliant transports based on the specified quality and temperature requirements.
